Acknowledgement of Country

The Integrated Health Network Alliance acknowledges that our work occurs on the Country of the Traditional Owners of the area: the people of the Barapa Barapa, Wamba Wamba, Dja Dja Wurrung, Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagulk peoples of the Wotjobaluk. We acknowledge their ancestors who have been custodians of this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge and pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Funding

The Sustainable Rural Healthcare Hubs project is funded by the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care through the ‘Innovative Models of Care Program Funding Community Supported Rural Primary Care Trials – Round 4’. The project is funded for four years from July 2023 to June 2027.

A health service partnership called the Integrated Health Network Alliance, which includes Northern District Community Health (fund holder), Murray PHN, Inglewood & Districts Health Service, Boort District Health and East Wimmera Health Service, is delivering the program. Monash Rural Health leads the project evaluation.

Child Safe Commitment Statement
